Accommodations At Chestnut Hill Inn, a year round facility, we offer several rooms. Each has its own individual charm. Most rooms are available with private baths and some have screened porches. A sitting area around a wood stove is available on the first floor as well as two additional sitting areas on the upper level.  Outside, a lovely screened porch and open decks surround the property.  Rates Rates range from $100.00 to $155.00 per night Subject to change without notice

A 45 minute ferry ride on Casco Bay Lines brings you to Marriner Wharf, facing the Long Island Town Hall. Long Island has a long history in New England, having been inhabited for nearly 400 years. Activities Long Island's quiet atmosphere is conducive to scenic walks along the shore or touring by bicycle through our quaint fishing community, famous for its sandy beaches. Guides to Portland's Old Port shopping district and area outlet stores are available to our guests. Information on area attractions, daily or evening cruises, whale watching, golfing, dining, dancing and entertainment, etc., are all available. Many visitors enjoy searching for our wildflowers and watching the numerous bird species found on Long Island. For our guests' convenience, we will supply beach wagons, bicycles and sand chairs on a first come, first-served basis. Back to Top

We provide our guests with a continental breakfast during the week and a full breakfast on the weekends. With some advance notice, our chef is always willing to accommodate special dinner requests. On some evenings, by reservation only, we are open to the public for dinner. Guests staying at the Inn are always given preference! We will be happy to provide you with a concierge service for dining at the local Spar Restaurant or accessible "off island" restaurants. Sandwiches, pizza and snacks are available the Long Island Store. We have fine local caterers for special events. Chef: Terry Foster
